Friction is a bit of a departure for me.  For starters, its very, very short — under four pages.  Second, it’s incredibly dark.  It’s kind of scary dark.  I read through it, and I started to shudder a bit.  It’s the kind of story that you read when you’re having the worst day in the history of mankind, and it will put everything in perspective.  Click here to start reading it on the web, or here for the PDF version.
